First Stop:  If you have a couple of hours on Thursday, come help us prepare a meal for some of our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We'll make lunch and 100 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, so regardless of your skill level...we can definitely use you! We'll start at 9:30 and wrap up about 11:00. Hope to see you there!

TYM Serving the Community:  On the first Wednesday of every month, the TYM goes and serves the community. This year, we are looking for individuals who need help around their houses. We can do yard work, cleaning, and just about any unskilled labor you can think of! If you know of anyone in need of assistance, please let Adam ( )know!

Directory Pictures:  We are so excited to announce that we are updating our family directory! Like our last directory, instead of hiring a company that takes professional pictures (that always includes a sales pitch!), we found that quick and casual fit us better.  The backdrop will be black so we encourage you to wear light or bright colors for your photograph.  Photos will be taken starting this Sunday and the remaining Sundays the month of  November from 8:30am-9:45am and 11:00am-11:45am.  We are encouraging ALL of our members to come have your photo taken so that we can update our directory.  If you have had any changes to your contact information, please let Adrienne know by responding to this email.  If you are not sure what we currently have listed for you, please let her know as well so that she can send the information we have for you and your family.  We also need some help!  If you are willing to assist our photographers or help sign in and verify directory listings, please click this link to sign up!

Twickenham Annual Day of Prayer:  One of our core values is Reliance on Prayer: emphasizing prayer as a first response not a last resort.   For over 20 years, Twickenham has hosted a yearly prayer service in which we come together and pray.  This year, on Friday, November 14th, Twickenham will host a 12 hour prayer service from 10:00am to 10:00pm in the auditorium.  Prayer cards are available in all lobbies, or you can email your requests to the office to  .  You can also complete an on-line prayer card at twickenham.e360chms.com/external/form/89a3fa49-c58c-47e2-9710-46125b78780b.  Please take some prayer cards to share with neighbors, fellow workers and friends.  Prayer requests can be related to anything on your mind from personal situations to general concerns.  Once prayers cards have been filled out, simply place the card in one of the offering boxes outside the auditorium doors, or return to the church office.   The completed prayer cards will then be placed on the steps at the front of the auditorium on Friday, November 14th for everyone to pray over them.   In addition to prayer cards spread out on the stage, there will be six prayer stations in the six windows around the auditorium.  Childcare will be available from 5:00-7:00pm.  Please make plans to join with others in this congregation on November 14th as we pray over these cards and solicit God's leading in all that we do.

LIFT Higher:  Ladies, join us for LIFT Higher next Sunday, November 9th, at 6:30 PM.  Come enjoy dessert and a meaningful evening as we gather for a Women’s Mentor Panel Discussion featuring experienced Twickenham members sharing their wisdom on parenting.  Have a question for our panelists? We want to hear from you! This is your chance to ask about the topics that matter most to you. You can submit your questions along with your RSVP below, or submit them anonymously via this Google Form.  Please RSVP here by this Friday, November 7th.  Email the LIFT team at with any questions. We hope you’ll join us for a night of connection, insight, and encouragement!

Friendsgiving Potluck:  We hope you will join us for a Friendsgiving Potluck on Sunday, November 23rd at 5:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.  There will be a Gratitude Wall, crafts for the kids and a pie competition for the Elders.  Sign up via the QR code above.  All are welcome and invite friends to join you as well!

Men's Retreat:  We are super excited about the 2025 Twickenham Men's retreat scheduled for December 5-7 at The Vision in South Huntsville.  Scott Sager will be our speaker this year and will lead us through The Days of Elijah: The Makings of a Godly Man. We have lots of activities and great food planned for the event. To help us coordinate food and activities with The Vision, please sign up by Sunday, November 16Sign up online at: https://forms.gle/34ANtCqh6G7LT8qSA. There are also hardcopy forms in all lobbies and the church office. Payment ($70 – Includes lodging, all meals and activities) can be made on-line at https://ppay.co/FUflWP_ehP4 or you can pay by cash or check in the office.  If you choose to take the Zip Line tour, there is an additional $49 fee.  A Schedule, Map to Facility and Packing list will be emailed ahead of the event.  Contact Steve Crigger   or Jay Dryden   if you have any questions. If you would like to attend, but need help with the cost, please contact Steve Crigger.

Sunday Morning: Join us this morning at 9:00 AM as we continue our split Junior and Senior High discussing Mark 12. Cavett Cooper and Bunny Brooks will be teaching those respective classes.

Sunday Night:  Join us tonight from 5:30-7:30pm at Twickenham as we spend some time slowing down, worshiping our Lord and Savior, and learning about Jesus' weird family tree. We hope you join us in this important time to be still before our Father before the busy Holiday season. Of course, we'll eat our leftover Halloween candy too!

Wednesday: It's the first Wednesday of the month, so you know what that means. Hangout is at 4:00. We'll leave at 4:30 to go serve somewhere (if we can't go to somebody's house, we'll head to the HLC like old times). Then, we'll return to the Twick at 6:30 in time for the Spring!

On the Horizon: Fall Retreat is scheduled for November 7-9 this year!  That's next week! Those of you who signed up should have received an e-mail. If you have not, please let me know ASAP!
