Welcoming Rahab
Uncomfortable life fact: The world is full of people who are nothing like you. They don’t believe the same things you believe. They don’t value the same things you value. They talk funny. Amazing biblical truth: God welcomes all people to join him in what he is doing in the world. Including people like you and me.
Here to Help
Why are we here? That question has been pondered, prayed over and puzzled for centuries. A story in Joshua chapter one has the answer.
It Isn’t What it Is
Ever felt like you were a hamster on a wheel? Pictured your day as a treadmill? Used the words rut, plateaued or trapped to describe your life? Have you felt like your life was going to remain ever a dull moment? So did Israel. They had been doing the same thing – wandering aimlessly in the wilderness – for forty years. Until God interrupted the inertia of their lives and invited them into an amazing adventure.

Better than Cal Ripkin
Cal Ripkin, Jr., holds the single season record for fewest errors by a shortstop in a single season. He had only three in 1990. That’s amazing. The Bible can do better than that. This week, we talk about inerrancy.
Fake News or Fact?
The 2017 word of the year, according to Collins Dictionary, was “Fake News.” Fake News is false, often sensational information that is disseminated under the guise of news reporting. And it’s actually not a new phenomenon. The ancient Egyptians did it. So did the Romans. A lot of folks wonder if the Bible is fake news? This Sunday, we’ll dig into 2 Peter 1 where we’ll discover three reasons to believe that the Bible is fact, not fake.
TXT:MSG - It is Written, But Is It True?
The first Christians seemed to really trust their Bible – Genesis through Malachi. In just about any situation, they turned to God’s text message for guidance. More than that, they believed there were some new writings that were no less a part of God’s text message.
Look Who Showed Up
God’s people encounter a crisis from which there appears to be no conceivable escape. Just when all seems lost, God shows up to deliver. That’s how the first fourteen chapters of the book of Exodus unfold. It’s also a summary of the entire Bible. In the coming year, you and I will face crises, disappointments, maybe even disasters. Here’s the good news – God still shows up.

Why Our Members Chose Twickenham

I felt strangely at home right away. Felt peace, love, acceptance and grace. . . They smiled at me, said hi, welcomed me: all with a great sense of sincerity.

I saw a new approach to worship and I felt God like I hadn’t for a while. It didn’t take me more than a few Sundays for me to feel at home.

I felt like it gave me the best opportunity to bring a non-believer or wayward believer with a different background or religious upbringing and them feel at home and interested in reconnecting with God or maybe connecting for the first time.
